I'm lucky to have a rock star older sister and Minnesota Realtor, Tricia Jo Leanger, to try my hand at in-action real estate photography. Tricia gave me a private tour of a $1.7M home in Orono, Minnesota just down the street from Lake Minnetonka. I photographed her while she was in her element telling me all about this 2-acre breathtaking home. I actually haven't been to one of her showings before, even though it feels like it through her social media and live videos. This home captured a Scandavaian design with modern metals.
The strategy of this "in- action" lifestyle shoot was to showcase her smart-yet customized experience as a realtor. Her outfit was thought through to not take away from the design elements yet feel edgy and timeless. She added the blazer for a headshot to elevate professionalism and add structure to her one piece.
There were certain rooms with appealing features that caught our eyes. When Tricia opened the doors to the 3 season, that became one of her favorite shots. We also weren't expecting the brass and gold tones to be so cool in the master bath.
The client (aka my sister and Minnesota Realtor) was super happy with this fresh approach vs. the typical (some would say boring) real estate photos. She now has content for her own blogs and social media.
My vision is to take on more real estate photography work like this to help create customized work for clients in my current living area, Manhattan Beach, California.
Hope you enjoyed looking at this lovely home and if you need a Minnesota local home expert, new construction to relocation to first time home buyer, Tricia Jo Leanger and her team got you!
